In 2007's, Taking 5, two outcast teenage girls take obsession to a whole new level! Devon and Gabby aren't the most popular people at high school, infact, far from it. They're the dorks.
But when energy drink Shift announces that they'll sponsor a free 5 Leo Rise (Devon's and Gabby's ultimate favourite boy band) concert for the high school that collects the most bottle labels, Devon's room becomes filled with them. In order to win though, Devon and Gabby team up with the 2 popular girls. Devon and Gabby don't like them, and they don't like Devon and Gabby. But they've got one thing in common, they all love 5 Leo Rise. D&G collect over 500, 000 labels.
The morning of the special assembly, with all the labels on stage behind the curtain, along with D&G and of course the queens of the school, D&G accidently light the labels on fire! Automatically no longer counting. If they weren't outcasts before, they certainly were then - not only did they light the labels on fire, but along with popular girl Kirri's hair! No need to worry though, they have got a plan!
With the help of Devon's admirer, Lincoln, and his mate Pete, they plan to kidnap 5 Leo Rise. Lincoln being a pro pranker. It's not as easy as that though. But they luckily manage to kidnap four members of 5 Leo Rise.
What do you do with 3 rockstars after you've kidnapped them?! Private concert? Throw eggs at one? ;)
